One year from terrorist attack on Banjska, Kurti: Africa Bulnjak lost his life defending Kosovo's sovereignty

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has commemorated Kosovo Police Sergeant Africa Bulnjak, on an anniversary of the assassination.

He has written on Facebook that the hero's sacrifice will never be forgotten, adding that Bulnjak lost his life “defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo”.

Kurti also announced the appointment of the R-217 Regional Road in the Ballaban-Banjska segment, named after Africa Bulnjak.

At the Government's 221st meeting, among our main decisions was the appointment of the R-217 segment Regional Road: Ballaban Banjska, named after the Hero of the Republic of Kosovo “Afrim Bounjaku”. In an anniversary of the terrorist and paramilitary attack against our country in Zvecan Banjsk, we honor and never forget the sacrifice of the hero, Sergeant Africa Bulnjak, who lost his life defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo”, Kurti's announcement said.
