Our big decision at the Rambouilles conference made Kosovo free and independent and under NATO protectorate. At the time, we had pressure from diplomats to agree to deploy UN peacekeeping forces in Kosovo, but we flatly refused them, we were determined that alone NATO accepted and made it happen.
