He will this time participate in the second German-Kosovo Economic Forum, which is held on October 2nd and 3rd in Clan Arena.
In addition to Sarrazin, the German-Kosovo Economic Oda announced that the participants would also be Bundestag member Peter Beyer.
“S, along with prominent economists from Kosovo and Germany, will discuss geopolitical developments and their impact on the global, regional economy, and German-Kosovon relations. This forum will gather over 700 guests from Kosovo and Germany, including senior officials from both countries. High-level representatives from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), along with executive representatives of large German companies, will be part of panels that will discuss solutions to energy, technology and industry”, the announcement said.
This year's forum, as the German-Kosovo Economic Oda says, “aims to strengthen economic ties between the two countries and create new co-operation opportunities, with programmes dedicated to Technological, Energy, and Industrial Solutions”.
“The approach promises extraordinary opportunities for networking and exchange of knowledge between Kosovo business communities and Germany”, the report said.
According to the German-Kosovo Economic Oda, the first forum, held in 2022, “launched a 20m-euro investment in Kosovo's production sector, testifying the importance of this event for the country's economic development”.
Kosovo could face calls for exemption from the Central European Free Trade Agreement and other penalties, if it continues to ban Serbian imports, says Sarrazin, who at the request for the removal of this ban has recently come to Kosovo.
