At least two people have been injured, meanwhile, the fire, caused by the collapse of missile chips, has damaged homes and infrastructure.
A building of a water plant, which served as a shelter to shelling in Kiev, has been partially damaged, said Ukrainian capital head Vitaly Klitschko.
He said two people were injured during the attack, adding that emergency teams have been exiled to several Kiev counties after the collapse of missile chips.
Serhiy Popko, head of Kiev's military administration, said that over 10 floating missiles, 10 ballistic missiles and a threat that were fired by Russia to Kiev were destroyed by Ukrainian air defence.
For about two hours, alarms were issued throughout Ukraine for air strikes, while authorities later said Ukraine's skies were safe. neighbouring Poland, NATO member state, according to Reuters, flew its planes and allies to keep its airspace safe during these attacks.
Meanwhile, in Harkiv the second largest city in Ukraine, two fears hit a residential building and a school, Ukrainian media reported. These attacks did not report casualties.
Moscow accuses Kiev of mass attack in Russia
The attacks come a day after Russia's army said it has destroyed 158 Ukraine's fears that were launched towards Russian regions. This has been described as one of Ukraine's biggest attacks since Russia began its conquest of the neighbouring state in February 2022.
This attack was also carried out several weeks after Ukrainian forces launched an offensive in the Russian region of Kursk.
