Economist from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Berat Rukiqi has reacted to Finance Minister Iron Murati, who, as not rarely, distributed statistics that Kosovo seems to be “lands” economically.
Rukiqi has faced the Mqirat with another percentage. According to him, 60% of our salaries go for basic medicines and foods, while that percentage when the government began the term Kurti, Rukiqi has written to have been 30. According to him Minister Murati, “treating us according to their manual, as ignorant and illiterate, 2024 is comparing it to the pandemic year, when each family economy has been forced to use their deposit for survival and cure from the pandemic”.

According to the Minister, we have so much money that we don't know what to do with it.
The minister is saying that family economies have been greatly enriched, but he's forgetting to tell us that today 60% of our salaries go for basic medicine and food (screw, milk, sugar, oil). When this Minister and government started mandated the payment rate for drugs and basic food has been 30%.
Treating us, according to their manual, as ignorant and illiterate, 2024 is comparing it to the pandemic year when each family economy is forced to use their deposit on survival and pandemic healing.
