QKUK is expected to re-organise double-changing schedules, measure lowering waiting lists

With this system, the long list of waiting in clinics is targeted. So has CKUK director Osman Hajdari.

Hajdari said that this system will be tested at the Oncology Clinic, given the sensitivity of patients there. He has said that even renovations made at this clinic allow for two shifts.

“The time issue is a measure within the many measures and actions that we've taken to realize an objective that is primarily raising quality of health services, at the same time distributing patients for a longer time and at the same time the quality of the entire service. It will be tested in Oncology, where the work schedule will be between 7am and 19 p.m., that is, the patient will be distributed for 12 hours”, Hajdari first indicated why this decision has been made to begin with the Oncology Clinic.

Because a service is offered, I also consider that Oncology Clinic patients are more sensitive, and there are usually in the morning people gathered because of the small capacities that have been in this clinic. What has been done all in this clinic in addition to physical infrastructure, has increased beds capacity, has been digitised in service where the first week of October will start with the ambulance system, where each patient will register, has implemented pharmaceutical stock that has been a problem in itself, and as the last measure we have considered that the extension of time in this clinic will be in the best interests of patients, disseminating this flow of people to 12 hours”, Hajdari told Online Economics.

He has said the decision was made in consultation with the Barnator and Biochem Directorate for what services are required from these clinics.

KKUK's director has said that expanding the schedule will also begin in several clinics. Focuses have the Vascular and Cardiology Clinic, which also includes the long waiting lists.
