Position-opposital clashes at the Investigative Commission for the purchase of texts

The absence of majority deputies, initially imperiling the quorum, has sparked debate among status and opposition deputies at the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for the process of buying textbooks. This caused the meeting to fail initially, but with the return of MPs to office it continued. Commission Chairman Shemsedin Dresaj said the ruling party [...]
Commission Chairman Shemsedin Dresaj said the ruling party is not present and that in the absence of quorum it cannot continue. But then the meeting resumed after deputies from LVV ranks returned to the commission, making it possible to continue the commission's work.
The aim of forming the commission is to see how the process for textbooks has been handled.
Bekim Haxhiu, deputy from the PDK ranks, said they have found a large number of irregularities in the investigative process for subsidising textbooks.
Our work should continue until the final report must be delivered to the Assembly, following the programme that we have adopted as the commission. We've done intensive work and the commission's done it. We interviewed and found a large number of irregularities in the investigative process for subvention of textbooks. The boycott by VV deputies is an attempt to prevent this investigation and findings in the investigation into the process of subsidising textbooks”, Haxhiu said.
Agim Aliu, deputy from the LDK, said there have been students in this process who, until the beginning of the school year, had no textbooks, and according to him, any commission that is formed indicates that there were major violations.
Ardian Kastrati of the PDK has also said the facts are in the light of the sun.
“have attempted to blackmail the findings of this commission investigation. These are to boycott, to protect the thief, extortion by millions. Even witnesses have accepted it, and today they do not come because they do not have how these millions reason on”, he said.
But during the meeting, party deputies in office returned and the meeting is now continuing regularly. Arjeta Feesa from the Vetevendosje Movement said there is an effort that the commission is allegedly being boycotted on their part. This is not true because we are convinced this process has gone well and the findings will be reflected in the commission's report. We are the ones who have made it possible for this commission to continue”, she said.
We were on commissions and we were responsible. I've only had one lack of”, added the other deputy from LVV, Mirlinda Tishukaj-Sadiku.
