Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has commemorated the 26th anniversary of Abria Massacre.
Through a media communique, the presidency said:
“26 years ago, Milosevic's genocide regime committed the brutal massacre against 23 members of the Deliu family, from the 2-year-old child, young, women, to the 94-year-old.
Their lives were cruelly taken away, but their memory is eternal. We will never forget you. We are committed to preserving memory for them, as well as establishing justice”.
On the other hand, martyrs Walder Xhemajli, Vesel Demak, and Africa Hajdari are also remembered.
Today, we also honor the heroic sacrifice of NLA martyrs Valdet Xhemajli, Vesel Demaku and Africa Hajdari, who fell on the altar of freedom, protecting Kosovo's dignity and future.
