When they're close to each other they don't lack the smile.
However, President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti seem to have a lot of disagreement between themselves, especially about the decisions the government makes and for which we need to coordinate with the first state.
The recent decision on CEFTA, the issue of membership in the Council of Europe, are some of the issues the two leaders have not had co-ordination and that the president has shown last night openly that he disagrees.
But, according to political analyst Blerim Canaj, this crack of reports between Kurti and Osmani, has the essence on internationals, since his vows to them are being broken by the executive.
The president has given promises, certainly, to international partners, which, of course, cannot be realised without the government's support, as the government is that top priority, and the president's promises may remain dry,” said Canay.
Canay says that both are trying to preserve their political career and that conflicts with each other's intentions.
“The prime minister tries to keep himself in population, foreign policy does not function with the popularism of which is the president, of course here, then conflicts develop,” Canaj added.
But, this whole situation between the Government and the Presidency, according to analyst Africa Casol, comes at a delicate time for Kosovo.
“Presidence Osmani, now this decision, which is Kosovo more, to tell the Government of Kosovo, because it has all insisted that Kosovo's actions be consonant and in co-ordination with international allies, which the Kosovo government has, according to her, ignored this strategic action,” said Kasoli.
President Osmani, last night's interview in Calxo. com said it has not yet decided on its political future when it completes its five-year mandate. /Adugjini
