Through a Facebook post, the most voted assist in Drenas has confessed all the reasons for his resignation from the party.

He has also announced that, apart from him, dozens of VV members, sympathisers and activists have resigned.

Dear friends, friends, co-ordinators, and supporters of my political journey, through this scripture I announce that I resign irrevocable from all my functions in Vetevendosje. Dozens of members, supporters, and activists of the Movement have resigned along with me. That way the subdeges in Terstentic are almost extinguished, I say with full conviction as its former chairman.

My resignation is well thought out, and comes after a broad consultation with my supporters and fellow workers who have always supported me.

The reasons for my departure from the Vetevendosje Movement branch are:

1. Installation of a negative phenomenon at the branch, where work, activity and dedication are not appreciated.

2. Without the full responsibility of the head of the branch, Mrs. Execona Terdevci, who came to the head of the branch through an envelope from the centre, not respecting the statute, norms, and regulations of the Movement.

3. Employment in public institutions and political appointments without merit.

4. The reduction of activity in the branch, the lack of treatment of activists, and the loss of about 70% of membership.

5. Exegona Terdevci, as head of the branch, was aware that Assemblyeer D. Halilaj has been employed at the Ministry of Defence, which makes it impossible to hold office at the minister and post of the assembly. Knowing that I was next to take that job, which I won through the citizens' votes, for a time I was denied to exercise this post without accounting until it was confirmed by the respective institutions.

These are some of the reasons why I cannot stand in Vetevendosje Movement. But most of all, my main concern remains the question of why my presence in the Municipal Assembly prevented you, when I was known to be one of the most voted candidates on the assembly list.

The Vetevendosje movement needs to know that the key cause of my resignation is Egzana Terdevci, a political adventurer who recently came to Vetevendosje through Xhavit Drenori's initiative, as he was its “political developer”. Exegona Terdevci even was an assembly candidate from his list in 2017. Now what happened? She just changed her teacher, and her new teacher knows who she is. Hence, Egzanne must take responsibility for the situation in which she has brought the branch.

At the recent session of the Municipal Assembly, the so-called head of the branch in Drenas, Erzanne Terdevci, has confirmed that I was insignificant to Vetevendosje (VV) Movement. So why did you call me on the phone dozens of times and write me over and over if I was insignificant? This is shameful, especially if you attribute them to lies a chief of a large subdrege, such as Tersteknik's.

As for a few words that Egzanne Terdevci told him, that I was supposedly sold or threatened, I want to explain that if I had been sold, I would have stayed with you, after making various offers, begging me to stay and open the phone. But, as far as threats are concerned, I mean, threats to me don't drink water. And you, you may even be threatened and sold, and that proves your movements in political subjects.

Honored citizens, I am the same, but I cannot continue to remain in a country where the contribution is not respected, where activists are offended, where they appreciate the ignorant, and where free speech is violated the fundamental value of democracy, which the Movement once held priority. We have pledged and worked to achieve excellent results, so I, Selman Qallapek, guarantee you that I will be the voice of all of you in the Municipal Convention, without any animations and consciences.
