LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku went to Stubble this morning when he participated in Dom Mikeli's meetings.
He said that in this manifestation among prominent local, Albanian and international personalities, President Rugova's figure was honoured at the 80th anniversary of his birth.
“Stublla is noted for a prosperous tradition in the field of culture, cultural heritage and Albanian education, whose beginnings, as historians say, are first in 1905, when the First Albanian School of Teachers, the priest and patriot, Dom Mike Tararbuluzi, was legalized. For me and LDK, Stublla with her school, with the First School Museum, with the history of the 19th century Karadaku Marttars, with such beautiful manifestations, with a brilliant and other entrant of value, constitutes a specific value for all of our Kosovo”, Obadiah wrote.
Therefore, Obadiah said, he said they were honoured that this manifestation was marked around Ibrahim Rugova this year.
<x0brahim Rugova, before he was a great politician, was the great intellectual, art and literature man who believed in the culture, tradition and values of Western democracy, and for him, culture was the most powerful weapon for stopping evil from raging. One such mission, in another form, has been played by the “Appointments of Dom Mikeli”, affirming the positive values of our history and providing good examples for our new generations, such as today, the honor we are doing to Ibrahim Rugova, founder of the Democratic League of Kosovo and his contribution to our Kosovo”.
The AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj, who earlier praised Rugova's work, also participated, saying that “through his words and works had changed”.
