Obadiah: Kurt is protecting the corrupts of his rule, President reacted late to Martin Berishajan

Democratic League of Kosovo leader Lumir Abdixhiku is accusing Prime Minister Albin Kurti of defending, as he calls the corrupts during his rule. Meanwhile, President Vjosa Osmani criticised him for late reactions in the case of Ambassador Martin Berishaaj.

Abdixhiku, the candidate for prime minister, said the fundamental difference between him and Prime Minister Kurti is that he leads a more corrupt government and the same protects them.

You have a prime minister who protects this corrupt one. I have about 98,000 heads of LDK leadership. I don't guarantee any of them can't even steal, but I guarantee you one thing that I will publicly confront. I'm going to distance and condemn the fact that I and my associates can be misappreciated by somebody “- Obadiah said in an interview on the show “CaluxPerime”.

While President Osmani's reaction to this case called Obadiah late.

Late trust response “Better late than never, but late”- he said.

The president Osmani on the “Kalxon Pernime” show, on 08.09.2024, said she did not invite Ambassador Berisha during the last visit to Croatia.

She said that in such cases, according to her, it is best for him to leave his position.

I want justice institutions to give their word and best in such cases, and it would be best until such procedures are carried out. The president can't knock someone off on his own because it's procedure. I in some cases have asked that if this issue is not clarified it would be better that he by withdrawing himself” -- she said.

In 29.03.2024, Ambassador Berisha has completed his interview with the Special Prosecutor after several hours of stay inside.

Berisha is suspected of three different criminal acts.
