As ATK reports, this is a significant increase in the declaration and payment of taxes by singers and other musical industry performers.
“Ration is the result of new measures implemented by the administration to consolidate its activities and ensure an intensive monitoring of this sector. The revenues of this period are higher for half a million euros compared to the same period last year”
In addition to the Tax Administration's announcement, under these measures monitoring of singers' income, including live performance, management contracts, as well as income from other sources, has been intensified. The Tax Administration aims to ensure equal and fair treatment for all taxpayers, creating a favourable environment for all.
This initiative is an important step in efforts to increase budget revenues and improve financial transparency in the music sector, encouraging all artists to respect their tax obligations”.
The Kosovo Tax Administration thanks all singers and artists who have fulfilled their obligations and encourages others to follow the same example to help in the country's economic development.
