US message to Kosovo: Beware of provocative actions, normalisation must lead to mutual recognition

Loaded with US work at the OSCE Permanent Council, Catherine Brucker, has expressed concern over her country's “uncoordinated and provocative operations by the Kosovo Government, which, according to her, have had direct and negative effect on members of the ethnic Serb community and other minority communities [...]
According to Brucker, these “actions put Kosovo citizens and KFOR soldiers at greater risk and undermine Kosovo's reputation as a reliable international partner”.
“We value their work, including O's field mission The SEU in Kosovo, the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo and the Kosovo Force, which prevent violence and call for continued restraint from all involved and affected”, Brucker has said, reports Klaankosova.tv.
In her statement, US Working on the OSCE Permanent Council, Catherine Brooker has said the US continues to support Kosovo as a sovereign, multiethnic democracy and has called on its leaders to promote an inclusive society and respect rights for all those living in Kosovo.
According to her, issues dealing with structures supported by Serbia in Kosovo “should be addressed through the EU facilitated dialogue, as agreed on by both sides”.
Brooker said the US sees Kosovo's future in Europe and fully integrated into European and Euro-Atlantic institutions.
“The dialogue on normalisation facilitated by the EU between Kosovo and Serbia is the way to ensure that Kosovo has better relations with its neighbours and progress on its European path. We reiterate our call for Kosovo and Serbia to move forward urgently in implementing the agreement they reached in March 2023. After all, the United States believes normalisation should lead to mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia”, Puttencoi Brucker.
In the end, she said that “The United States will remain actively engaged, in co-ordination with our EU partners, in support of a predictable and peaceful relationship between Kosovo and Serbia on the basis of their agreements and obligations from Dialogue”.
