Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia has told us that since the head of the army group that attacked Banjska, Milan Radojicicic, is at large, the situation will be fragile in the country's north.

“While Radoicic's group continues to remain at large in Serbia, while Serbia's policy encourages such groups, the situation remains fragile in the country's north”. He said.

The establishment of the indictment against the Banjska group is good news because Kosovo has really not exaggerated when it presented the threats and risks that have come from Serbia and from these terrorist groups in the north. For several years our institutions have highlighted the danger that can come from these groups. Today, vigilance is too high. September 24th has not only taught us, but also the internationals, that the security aspect in the Western Balkans is weak, as long as there are states aimed at occupying other countries, such as Serbia. Nearly 70% of Serbia's military capacities are located south of its territory, not far from the border, and groups such as Radoicic's are encouraged to carry out terrorist attacks on our country.

This approach of Serbia is not only in relation to Kosovo, but also with Bosnia and the impact they have on the security situation in Montenegro. While there is this approach of Serbia, the danger is normally present and vigilance by us and our partners has increased.

In the last period, we have had for the first time an extension of sovereignty in the north. Illegal institutions have been closed, and the life of the Serb community has become extremely relaxed. Normally, various groups operating in Serbia continue to threaten the security and order of our territory, but the situation in the country's north, despite tensions, is much more stable and quiet”, the minister said. / A2 CNN
