Former Yugoslav State Security member Mehmet Loci has not expressed regret over his activity and the violence exercised against former Albanian political prisoners.
Loci denied part of the charges, but acknowledged that he has been exercising violence against some Albanians who were imprisoned under the regime of the former Yugoslavia.
“I know in my fingers whom I beat”, said the unrepentant Loci, who had acted in the Pec region.
By contrast, Loci is accused of most former political prisoners who confessed to “Debat Plus” of torture they had experienced during the phase of the former Yugoslavia's investigations and prisons.
Loci has not denied violent violenceNasim Haradinaj, but only Albanians who have practiced violence, not Serbs who were his associates in State Security, are being mentioned.
He said he knows the names who beat Haradinaj, not even denying himself, but avoiding the indirect question.
I have the first day of Smajl Haradinaj's association [Nasim Pridinaj's father], which I have had initial cleaning conversation. It's been a while, but I'm embarrassed to say... What Smajli told me, I won't tell you. I'm telling him to be a man. I know who's beating, [Nasim Haradinaj]. I was a guardian. Let me mention that Serb. What is this atmosphere that only bends the names of Albanians, rather than Serbs and Montenegrins”, he said.
Haradinaj had earlier named Mehmet Locin as one of the biggest torturers at the state security offices in Pec. /Dukagini/
