His arrest was carried out by Turkish intelligence under a covert operation. According to Turkish media, the National Intelligence Organisation determined that Rexhepi was the person managing the financial network of AGESAD in Turkey.
Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has been asked for this case today at a news conference, Express reports.
She said Turkish institutions have sent written questions to them on this case, which Haxhiu said is sensitive and can share with the public as much as they could on such issues.
The justice ministry has excellent co-operation with Turkey. Of course, in the past, you know the case of the expulsions of Turkish citizens who lived in Kosovo, you know the problem that existed at the time, but in general judicial co-operation with Turkey is very good. We address requirements that are in line with court decisions and according to the legislation in force and agreements that we have. In this regard, we have received written questions about the case as I entered this conference and because of the sensitivity of the issue because these issues are generally sensitive, especially when information is given without proper action. I've asked the director of the department to inform me only of issues the public can report. Therefore, I respectfully request that as soon as this conference closes, let me answer in writing on issues that are allowed. So, the department's director is already dealing with this issue”, Haxhiu said.
According to Turkish media, Rexhepi transferred money to agents on the ground in Turkey, who conducted fearful footage, psychological operations against Palestinian politicians and collected information on the Syrian field, under Israeli Information Service guidelines.
