European Parliament Speaker Roberta Metzola and Hungary's representative, as head of the EU Council, will sign today in Strasbourg the decision to annul visas for holders of Serbian illegal passports in Kosovo, issued by Serbia.
The signature is scheduled for 15:15.
“After signing the decision by the EU Council and the European Parliament, it will be published in the EU Official Journal”, European Parliament deputy Matjazh Nemec, who at the previous meeting of the European Parliament (PE), told Tanjug that the visa annulment of Serbian passport holders, which are recognized illegally in Kosovo.
On July 22nd this year, the EU Council made the decision to abolish visas for holders of Serbian passports from Kosovo, which are issued by the state of Serbia, which completed the legislative process for the EU, as well as on April 23rd, the European Parliament, with the German proposal, voted visa liberalisation for holders of Serbian passports from Kosovo, issued by Serbia.
