Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu said the Kosovo government is working towards unblocking CEFTA as the key mechanism in implementing the Joint Regional Market so as to ensure direct representation and equality between the parties.
Kryeziu said Kosovo is actively supporting regional and contributing co-operation in deepening economic integration through the Joint Regional Market under the Berlin Process, based on the principle of equality, reciprocity and on European Union values and regulations.
“At lunch invited yesterday by European Commission President Ursula von der Leenen, Prime Minister Kurti has expressed his commitment and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to new agreements under this process, and at the same time stressed the importance of full implementation of the four mobile agreements signed in Berlin and Tirana”, he told RTK.
Kryeziu said that next month in Berlin the 10th anniversary of the Berlin Process is marked, and that Kosovo, as a pro-active member of this process, has committed and has contributed to this summit to concrete results such as adopting the New Action Plan for Common Regional Market, and new results in the field of education, foreign investment and the Green Aegean.
