Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia, has hosted the president of the Republic of Turkey's Defence Industry Agency, Haluk Gorgun, accompanied by his team and Turkey's ambassador to Kosovo, Sabri Tunc Angılı.
During the meeting, Kurti has expressed thanks for co-operation in the field of defence, especially in terms of the establishment of capacities of the Kosovo Security Force, the prime minister's office has announced.
He has said further that Kosovo “will continue buying military equipment from Turkey, which remains one of Kosovo's main partners. ”
As ZKM suggests, the meeting was also discussed. “around the possibilities of co-operation in the development of the defence industry, that of ammunition production respectively, and the conditions our country offers for potential investors from Turkey. ”
