In 2023, over 1,000 new cancer cases were recorded more than a year ago.
According to AKS data during 2022, there were a total of 3110 new cases affected by cancer. Meanwhile, in 2023 there are a total of 4 thousand and 165 new cancer cases. Of these 2 085 cases are women and 280 males.
If generally viewed as the level of visits to health institutions, and mainly preventative ones have increased, if we look at the number of all visits at all levels of visits, whether in primary health, whether at the counter or even at the teccard. Cancer patients observe a significant increase from 2022 where there were 3110 new cancer cases until 2023, we have 4165 new cases”, the ASS report says.
