The meeting aims to find ways of co-operation between the two countries, which have close co-operation in the health field.
Commission for Health and Social Peace Chairman Fatmire Kolcak praised the possibility of co-operation in functioning social companies.
The government is subsidising citizens in efficient equipment and making major changes in the legislative part to improve social life in Kosovo. Kosovo and Germany have great cooperation in the field of health, our desire remains for our doctors to take advantage of medical advances in your country and these experiences to bring to their country. So our goal is for them to return to Kosovo and contribute to our country. Of course, it is more important for us to know about the welfare of all Kosovars in Germany, not only for those who are there on business contracts, but also for Kosovars who have German citizenship”, she said.
Democratic League of Kosovo MP Armend Zemaj said it is necessary to find an opportunity for state control for the deficit share of Kosovo health professionals, for this agreement between the two countries, in specialisations and other experiences, that help health in Kosovo and not only to flee professionals.
It's very important that we have more frequent communication. I'm very grateful for the great support the German and German people have given in fighting video (19. Recently, there have been great moves by nurses and doctors to Germany. Ways to have concrete relations and cries in terms of coverage of this sector”, Zemaj said.
German MP Carl-Julius Croenberg stressed the importance of health insurance in Kosovo, which, according to him, would create a new standard in the field of health in Kosovo.
Kosovo will be able to join the EU after several years, and this brings us joy, despite the difficulties it is now going through in the phase of dialogue with the neighbouring state. Health aspects, not why Germany is attractive to health professionals, but that Kosovo needs a solid health system, starting with health insurance, and what can be done is greater co-operation between clinics in both countries. Germany has the interest to see Kosovo in Be, to facilitate co-operation between the two countries”, Cronenberg said.
Anelika Gluückner, said this visit to the region will influence us to get to know as much the needs for improving social-health life in our countries.
For example, it's of an interest to have as many agreements as possible, given the situations in both countries, we have agreements with India and other countries from Asia.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP, Pal Lekaj, has asked Germany to influence foreign investors to come and invest in Kosovo, as according to him, the country has great unemployment and poverty.
“Unemployment is large and high in Kosovo, even though there is little improvement, but we are far from our EU-related goals. We are very stuck, we as a new state before ourselves have a strong state like Germany that we ask you to influence investors to come and invest in Kosovo because it reduces poverty and unemployment”, he said.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Bekim Haxhiu cited the challenges citizens have in health care in the absence of health insurance.
The German Bundestag support for the past 25 years has been too big, and in time, our concerns and problems are due to lack of funding. When there are no public funds, citizens are forced to pay their own expenses, those who don't have to pay an operation, wait up to four years for an operation, those who have gone to private clinics, so we need the law on health insurance, so everyone can handle the same”, Haxhi said.
