KMDLNj: The Law for the Bureau for Confiscating Unjustified Riches is being made for the purpose of electoral benefits

Through a media communique, KMDLNj has said he asked opposition parties to reject this MD proposal if it is not in full compliance with the demands of the opposition and the Kosovo Constitution.

The justice minister, at a media conference yesterday, said the necessary changes have been made, so it is expected that soon she will be sent to the polls for the vote. This law was overturned by the Constitutional Court for the fact that it was contrary to the Kosovo Constitution. The Bureau law was one of the main promises of the ruling party, so even maximum efforts are being made to make this law functional. The Law on Bureau in neighbouring countries has provided a legal basis for combating the opposition, so it has faced many problems.

Even in Kosovo, parties in power attempted to fight the opposition by criminalizing it even without starting investigations that, instead of testing, would take into account the lifestyle and material situation and make sense of a judiciary of professional and independent integrity. KMDLNj estimates that the MD's haste for approval of this law is being made for the purpose of electoral benefits, as elections are near. Opposition parties should reject this MD proposal if it is not in full compliance with the demands of the opposition and the Kosovo Constitution.

Opposition parties, falling into the trap of office after voting the criminal and racist agreement for prisons with Denmark by seriously violating the constitutional principle for the equality of Kosovo citizens and those who temporarily live in Kosovo. They, in their vote contrary to human rights and the Constitution of Kosovo, on ethnic and racist grounds discriminated against Kosovo prisoners and convicts, privileged those imported from Denmark.

Kosovars must not accept this discrimination and should oppose it in all peaceful ways. The MD's proposal is manipulation to win votes in the upcoming elections, so it must be rejected by the opposition. The future government should review the racist prison agreement with Denmark because it violates the country's sovereignty, jeopardises territorial integrity and discriminates against citizens on ethnic grounds, both Kosovo and those who against their will will will be brought by Denmark.
