KFOR says Ulutas and Orav have exchanged opinions on recent developments.
“Conmandanti reiterated KFOR's steadfast commitment to continued co-operation with the EU's mission for Law Rule (EULEX) and full support for the EU-mediated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. ”
Co-operation between NATO and the EU is reportedly key to lasting security in Kosovo and regional stability.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR acts as the third security responseer, in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, who are the first and second security responder, respectively. ”
