Mustafa stresses that Osman has not distanced himself to any act of government referees, while adding that he has often acted even contrary to the Constitution.
In the latter, Mustafa cited the case of chief state prosecutor, where Osmani, according to him, has met the demands of the prime minister.
“The president cannot easily distance himself from the government. The association or the autonomy of the Serbian entity in Kosovo in the version of the Brussels and Ohrid Agreement has been accepted in 2023 by the current Kosovo leadership”, Mustafa said in a reply to Blic newspaper.
The country's “president has not since distanced himself from any unconstitutional law and from any arbitrary government action. He has acted contrary to the Constitution in the case of the chief state prosecutor, meeting the prime minister's demands and scrapping the CEC chairman, in the interest of position and in silence of a portion of the opposition”, he added.
As he spoke of Osman's recent criticism against Albin Kurti's government, Mustafa added that he should not be believed.
According to him, these statements are for pre-elector campaign.
“E now, when it does not have the government's support, it is declared that it cannot fire the embassy in Croatia because it does not allow the Constitution? All these statements I consider to be positioning in the pre-electoral campaign, not as attitudes worthy of being entrusted with”, Mustafa said.
