Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vuchev has reacted to this case, as well as the main Belgrade-backed Kosovo Serb party, List of Srpska, which demonstrated that young people were beaten by the Kosovo Police, and this was presented as “repression to Serbs in Kosovo”.
Vuchevic said this morning that “according to new information” in the northern part of Mitrovica have arrested three young people of Serbian nationalism, as well as the fourth that “has all recorded on his phone.
“According to the information I have received, I spoke to Petar Petkoviqi this morning, three Serbs, young Serbian nationality, were beaten up in the north, dragged out of a building and beaten, and one fourth was arrested who had all of these recorded on his phone, which registered the depression and attack on Serbian youth”, Vuchev told Prva TV.
Vuchevic added later that he has information that they [Kosovo police] have arrested one of the young people because they allegedly identified him in connection with last year's Serb protest in Zvecan”.
The Vucheviqi Narrative continued the Serb List in a Facebook post.
This party says that the brutal <x0.0nd overcoming and arresting three young Serbs in northern Mitrovica is evidence of Kosovo police brutality against Serbs, all led by Albin Kurti, which has become routine in northern Kosovo”.
For the video that was distributed on social networks where it is claimed to be the case of the arrest of these young people, List Srpska said this “is the first time that there is clear evidence of Kurti's brutality and that there is no control of the Kosovo Inspectorate, nor of international representatives' response to the institutional depression of the Serbian people”.
Furthermore, List Srpska claimed that Serbian “mocated rights to examine those arrested were denied, and evidence of youth brutality is concealed in the hands of”.
This excessive use of force and arrest of a young man was followed by beating, humiliation and shooting threats at the city's mall in the strict centre of northern Mitrovica. Such scenes will see nowhere else in Kosovo, and this inhuman and unprofessional behaviour is undoubtedly reserved for Serbs. The arrest of the young man who filmed this brutal act proves how these falangat are hiding their crime evidence”. /Express/
