Hamza meets with Ambassador Guerot: France's strategic partner has supported us in all vital processes

South Mitrovica Chairman and Kosovo Prime Ministerial candidate Bedri Hamza has met with French Ambassador Oliver Guérot today.

Through a post in his Facebook account, Hamza has provided details from the meeting with the French ambassador, showing that they discussed the need to boost co-operation and co-ordination in issues of bilateral interest, but also in the interest of strengthening peace”.

Today's conversation with French Ambassador Olivier Guérot was a pleasure. We discussed the need to boost co-operation and co-ordination in issues of bilateral interest, but also in the interest of strengthening peace, co-existence and security in Kosovo and the region. France is Kosovo's strategic partner for strengthening Euro-Atlantic perspective and economic development. As a friend and witness, she has supported us in all the vital processes for the country and is the most important address for the integration of states that aspire to membership in the European Union.

Kosovo is grateful to France and to Western strategic partners. I believe that on our way to realising the Euro-Atlantic vision we must walk together with all Western partner states.
