According to a media report, discussions during the meeting focused on three main topics: agreeing and preparing for the upcoming meeting at the level of chief negotiators, developments about the opening of Mitrovica's main bridge over the Iber River and the road ahead with the implementation plan for the implementation of the Brussels Agreement and the Implementation Annex.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stressed that opening Mitrovica's main bridge over Iber is a matter addressed and agreed on in Brussels, within the process of dialogue mediated by the European Union, and that it should be opened under the existing agreement and its conclusions to the 2020 European Commission report, which estimates that the works on the bridge have been completed and that it should be opened without delay and without any obstacle to the above”, the report said.
According to the Government, Bislimi has said that the Kosovo government is consistently engaged as a constructive party in dialogue.
“As such, it remains committed to full and unconditional implementation of the Bazic and Anex Agreement and convinced that its signature is the right guarantee and necessary for full implementation by Serbia and accounting for its continued violations”, the report said.
