And this statement has been responded to by Prime Minister Albin Kurti's adviser, lives Zulfaj.
In his response to the social network “Facebook”, Zulfaj has said that after three years of Serbia's blockade within CEFTA, there is a compromise solution.
While adding that Serbia has conditioned the solution with the removal of measures from Kosovo.
The Republic of Kosovo's “Prime Minister Albin Kurti has met with Germany's Special Representative, Manuel Sarrazin, today to discuss the possibility of unblocking decision-making in CEFTA. After three years of Serbia's blockade within CEFTA, we have a compromise solution. Serbia has now conditioned that solution with the removal of Kosovo's security measures at border points with Serbia. These two issues are not related. Kosovo's measures do not concern trade, but stem from threats to the security of our state. They were taken, not by the Ministry of Commerce, but by our security authorities. Kosovo is the most pro-active state in the Berlin Process, and Prime Minister Kurti has repeatedly promoted further integration of the region,” has written Zulfaj.
Otherwise, Rohde said that if necessary, other states would continue without Kosovo in the EU agreement to facilitate trade exchanges for countries in the region.
