He has advised citizens to avoid attending these points after 6:00 and has stressed that Kosovo police have prepared operational plans for every possible scenario.
And always when we have information that something can happen, we have our operational plans, but considering the nature of the situation in the north, nothing is surprising. So we consider everything to be okay in case we have blockades at Serbian border points.
What citizens need to be careful about is that they don't possibly frequent these border points from 6:00 as warned.
According to the information we have on how it's going to develop, but it's not going to be all the points they've mentioned. There is no possibility of having the situation in Kosovo, if anything happens, we are here”, Elshani has said of Telegrafi.
Elshani also commented on the interview of five suspects in the closure of former parallel municipalities, stressing that the issue is in the hands of investigators and prosecutors.
This is the investigative and prosecutor's work in question, as you know, there are five invitations we've distributed, four of them we found in the house, one not. That's all I can say. The reason they are interviewed relates to the case of the parallel municipality we closed last Friday”, has ended Elshani.
Unlike the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) has called on Kosovo citizens late Wednesday and Kosovo exiles to avoid border crossings between Kosovo and Serbia during their transit journey, due to warnings of blocking roads in Serbia leading to border crossings this week.
Such a request has been made by the National Centre for Border Management, where it has urged exiles planning to travel to avoid all border crossings with Serbia.
