At a joint conference with Finnish counterpart Elina Valtonen, Gervala said Kosovo is committed to implementing rule of law in every corner of its territory.
“The rule of law is essential for Kosovo's internal stability. At the meeting we talked about northern Mitrovica and its main bridge. This bridge, which has symbolized division and division for many years, should be opened and only thus transformed into a symbol of reconciliation and unity. Kosovo is committed to implementing the rule of law in every corner of its territory, guaranteeing equal rights for all citizens despite their ethnic affiliation”, Grovall said.
Furthermore, Minister Gervalla said that at the meeting with Finnish top diplomat, among other things, it has been discussed Kosovo's NATO membership.
“Role NATO continues to be vital to the stability of our region. I thanked the minister for the important role of Finland even within KFOR. We are committed to strengthening our relations with NATO. Kosovo's goal is full NATO membership and remains a strategic goal where Finland's experience, which recently became a member of this alliance, serves as an example that we closely follow”, Gervala said.
