Former DP President Gerti Bogdani Dies

Who was Gertie Bogdan?

In 2009, Bogdani ran in the June 28th 2009 Parliamentary Election and elected the youngest MP in Albania's Parliamentary Assembly.

In 2011 he was elected vice president of “International Union of Youth Democrats” (International Young Democrat Union IYDU) and then, in January 2012, vice president.

In September 2015, he was elected head of IYDU at the Congress held in Lisbon, Portugal, thus becoming the first Albanian politician to hold such a high post in an international organisation.
