Four cases of domestic violence in the last 24 hours in Kosovo

Four cases of domestic violence have been reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo, while four suspects have been sent to maintenance.

Kosovo police have announced that the cases have occurred in Pristina, Fushe-Kosovo, Decani and Mitrovica.

In Pristina, a woman has reported physically assaulted by her husband after a disagreement. Suspect's been taken to custody. A suspect has been arrested in Fushesh-Kosovo after having laid off his wife.

And in Decan a man has been arrested because he had under the influence of alcohol committed psychic violence against his family and attempted to stab himself.

“Decan 07.09.2024, 14:30. The Kosovo male suspect has been arrested because the same under the influence of alcohol had exerted psychic violence on his family, as well as attempted to hurt himself with a sharp (tooth) tool. After interviewing with the prosecutor's decision, the suspect has been sent to the maintaining”, the report said.

And in Mitrovica a woman has reported that after a disagreement she was attacked by the person she was living with. She has accepted medical treatment and returned to her parents, while the suspect has been sent to keep it.
