Deliu-Codra says Albert Deliu is considered a living testament to stability, hope and love.
“Albert Deliu was only two years old that sad 26 September morning who was bloody by the killing of mother, sisters and 20 other family members, by Serb criminals. He was very young, but he carried the heavy load of tragedy on his tender arms. Despite all that he has endured, his optimism is contagious and radiant. In every word he says, he hears the echo of his family's unfulfilled dreams but also a challenging will to live for them. He laughs not only for himself but also for the sisters, whose lives and dreams were unjustly cut apart in half. Every step he takes is an act of devotion to family memory as a silent promise to make them proud”, Deliu-Codra wrote.
Thank you Albert, for finding strength and choosing to stay tall to bring the family name forward, with love, hope and honor! Eternal glory to the martyrs of Kosovo!”
