The Constitutional Court in Mitrovica has decided on the move to house arrest against four Serbs arrested for the attack on Kosovo Police two days ago in northern Mitrovica.
RN (2004), LK (2005), VJ (2003) and MM (2005) were arrested under suspicion of insulting and attacking two policemen, one of whom, according to police, has suffered injuries.
The fundamental bias has not yet been published, but according to reports by media Serbian parents of the arrested children have confirmed that the house arrest measure has been pronounced against young Serbs.
Parents of the children arrested, as well as their lawyers, have claimed that Kosovo police had been practicing violence against those arrested, and thus protests are organised today in the country's north.
Because of security, Serbian youths have been tried at the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica.
