Customs prevents smuggling with goods: Grabs goods worth 10,000 euros

As they report from Kosovo customs the value of goods according to the market is over $10,000, while evasion from customs duties stands at over 18,000.

The alleged user has managed to stop around 11:30 in the vicinity of fsh. Slate-Viti during the raid has been noted as being led by suspect B.S. age 35 from Vietnam.

By 12.09.2024 at the border belt between the fs. Tanushı RMV and fsh. Honey - RKS has been observed a spotted white-and-white vehicle with local license plates illegally entered by northern Macedonia in Kosovo.

The suspected vehicle was managed to stop around 11:30 in the vicinity of the ft. Slate-Viti during the raid has been noted as being led by suspect B.S. age 35 from Vietnam.

During the search, it's been observed that there were a bunch of white bags and some plastic buckets.

During the count of the goods, it has been verified that 21 black - white plastic buckets weighing 26kg were filled with honeyè, while 31 sacks of 15kg white. were filled with processed tobacco, without any document on the origin of the merchandise.

There's a total of 546 kilos. Honey and 465 kilos.

The market value of goods is over $10,000, while customs evasion is over 18,000.

The vehicle and smuggled goods have been seized and delivered to the customs terminal in Ferizaj.

The case remains to be handled by Kosovo customs personnel.
