Convinced Pacolli: No more reason to have KFOR soldiers on the Ibër Bridge

VV MP Victory Pacolli said KFOR soldiers no longer have reason to stand on the Iber River bridge.

According to her, security in the north is satisfactory and there is no reason for the presence of soldiers.

“There is no reason for the bridge to remain closed to cars and there is no longer reason to have KFOR soldiers on the bridge, since security in that part of Kosovo territory is satisfactory, as well as Kosovo Police have shown that it is willing to protect that part of Kosovo's territory from crimes that can happen from violent acts as well as to protect citizens from attacks, common theft...”, she said in Tv1.

Meanwhile, he did not mention the date when the bridge may be open, but said they are working intensively.

We said we'd work intensively at opening the bridge and that's what we're doing. Now all technical works related to the bridge have been accomplished, and in the meantime we are in constant consultations with the international community to open the” bridge, she said.
