This day, in front of members of the Commission for Legislation, I introduced the Bureau's bill with focus the changes related to addressing the findings of the Constitutional Court, such as retroactivity, the period of verification, the supervisory commission and the division of powers”, wrote Haxhi in a Facebook post.
The minister thanks the Commission members for the discussions and voting of this important bill aimed at pursuing the unwarranted assets of officials.
Last week, the executive has adopted the new bill for the bureau, where, according to the executive, only four articles have been addressed that were toppled by the Constitutional Court.
The law passed on February 9, 2023. After that, I was challenged to Constitutional by Democratic Party deputies. And it was declared invalid after a year and a half review of this court on July 29, 2024.
