Through a Facebook text, KFOR has announced that these regular training are key to protecting KFOR's higher operational standards and readiness to handle all possible security scenarios.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all people living in Kosovo, at any time and KFOR acts as the third responder of security in all of Kosovo, in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's mission for Sundition of Law <x0, which are the first and second responders respectively,<2> said in their announcement.
We think 300 British troops have arrived. Last night At Pristina Airport to hold training within KFOR's mission. These trainings will last until the end of October.
