Bislimi: On September 17th, the next meeting in Brussels, Serbian media are lying down that we have rejected trilateral meeting.

Besnik Bislimi, Kosovo's chief negotiator in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue in Brussels, has confirmed that a meeting is scheduled between the two delegations for next Tuesday.

Media in Serbia during the day reported on this meeting, but accused the Kosovo side of rejecting a trilateral meeting.

However, Bislimi says this information “is a lie”, as, according to him, Kosovo has accepted the trilateral meeting on September 17th, according to the agenda appointed by the mediator.

For future dialogue process talks in Brussels set for 17 September, Kosovo has accepted a trilateral meeting according to the mediator-appointed agenda. Unfortunately, Serbia rejected such a meeting by trying to impose agenda points mainly for domestic political consumption”, Bislimi said at X.

He urged Lajcak that “deny intentional deinformation by Serbian media”, “s which falsely say Kosovo has rejected the trilateral meeting of top negotiators”.
