Basha answers Berisha: I've asked her to run with dignity so she wouldn't die politically in shame, taken hostage. PD

Former Democrat Lulzim Basha responds to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's attacks, the latter under house arrest of December 30th 2024 and indicted by the Special Prosecutor of SPAK for last week's “passive corruption”, for the “Partizani” file. Basha accuses Berisha of his plight taking hostage The DP and the mines [...]
Basha accuses Berisha of his plight taking hostage The DP and it's undermining the opposition by serving Rama.
The leader of the Euro-Atlantic Democratic Party says, among other things, that “is his great sadness (Berisha) and that three years ago I have asked him to leave with dignity so that he would not die “politically with shame”.
In his Facebook post, Basha says concern is no longer Berisha's plight, but the opposition minim and serving Rama.
“Berisha took the party to protect himself from the US and Great Britain and that he sold the elections to Edi Rama, in exchange for taking over the PD” stamp, he writes.
Basha says “Albania deserves more than united Rama-Berisha” co-operative, which “only work for their own interests, against Albania's” interests.
Basha's full response:
Sadness that after three years of fraud and failure you continue to hear Sali Berisha's divisions. What I've asked him three years ago is to leave with dignity and not to give up <x0...
He clearly chose this second one. But I am no longer concerned with Sali Berisha's personal plight, but the fact that his plight has taken the Democratic Party hostage and is undermining the opposition by serving Edi Rama.
As I said three years ago, time is the best medicine and it actually carries bigger. Today, there are no Albanians who do not know and did not see that Sali Berisha wanted the DP to turn its shield in the face of justice, the US and Great Britain.
No point of dignity is left to the one who sold the elections to Edi Rama in exchange for the stamp, the one who joined the votes with Edi Rama to accommodate the corrupt and Edi Rama while keeping democratic protesters on criminal prosecution, the one who joined the votes with Edi Rama to close the lists, giving more power to Edi Rama.
Albania deserves more than united Rama-Berisha co-operative, working only for their own interests, against Albania's interests.
