Serbia's continued actions in relation to Kosovo, as well as the last act blocking roads at border crossings, are not aimed at solving problems, but rather at destabilizing the Western Balkans. Thus, local and international analysts are praised.
Serbia's actions in relation to Kosovo are viewed by local and international analysts as its attempt to destabilise not only Kosovo, but the Western Balkans.
However, the International Community insists that the Government's actions take place in co-ordination with them, and that analysts support it, saying it needs co-ordination of actions so that the country's north is stable.
Former Kosovo diplomats in Germany, Blerim Canay, currently political analyst, say Serbia's games are aimed at profit rather than solving the problem.
Canaj emphasises that Serbia is playing with the charter of minority Serb community rights violations as a strategy that embraces the International Community.
It's part of the game in the sense that they always want to increase shopping, we want something. Of course, it is linked to the request of the Serbian side for the construction of the association for the implementation of association, respectively. Now it's the rest of the game in the period when it's already been talking about violating the rights of Serbs, it's clear that it's a very sensitive motion for the international community and they know that now the pipe is above the tʹa and, of course, even furthermore, they want to benefit from this option”, Canaj said.
Security expert Nuredin Ibishi, the current situation in Kosovo, links him with Bosnia's, so he appeals to be cautious in action.
“When the possibilities are exhausted to operate inside, there are no extremists within which carried out the stabilisation of the neighbouring country of Serbia, at the helm with Vuciq, the blockade of borders that is contrary to the international rights convention have left authority to some group itself called the roots to receive police authorization on a neighbouring territory, the neighbouring state, Serbia, in this case”, Ibishi has said.
In an interview for Radio Free Europe, former US Ambassador to NATO Kurt Volker has stressed that Serbia is largely dependent on the EU on the economy. But it still has a much closer relationship with Russia, referring to the Russian gas supply.
With the support of the Serbian state, groups organised the day before have blocked several border checkpoints linking Kosovo and Serbia.
