The opposition named it late and without sustainable solutions, while from the ruling party consider that “reform in health is receiving greater dynamism”.
Democratic League of Kosovo MP Armend Zemaj has stressed that this bill is binding on the framework of the Parliament's labour regulation, and without regard for the verdict this bill necessarily goes to the Assembly for review.
Zemaj stressed that the health insurance bill is delayed and that the same in content does not provide sustainable solutions.
“More is prepared to cover the government's four-year failure in the health sector, and this law cannot be improvised at the end of the mandate to cover the legislative procedure”, Zemaj stressed.
Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group MP Hadge Avdyli has stressed that health reform is gaining greater dynamism.
I believe that by the end of the term we will have the Law on Health, the Law on Inspectorates, and the Law on Health Insurance, which we will round up health reform”, Avdyli stressed.
According to him, this bill has addressed all shortcomings that have prevented Kosovo from having health insurance until today.
And Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Shemsedin Dresaj said it would be very difficult to perpetuate in practice, because it says it is late and it is not the time to adopt.
According to him, at least four years of minimum health insurance is needed to raise the fund and to function the process.
It's strange why after three years of governance it's brought here, if we had had it in early 2021 we really would have made our contribution”, Dreshai stressed.
The Dress said that this bill with all promises is the first to fail.
