She said police during this quarter century continue to be one of the most trusted and respected institutions in our country.
“Congratulations all 25th anniversary of the Kosovo Police. September 6th marks an extremely important moment on the day of our police establishment. Today we are here to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Police, which is not just an institution's holiday, but an honour for the devotion and sacrifice of women and men who have served and continue to serve as guardians of order and security. Kosovo police during this quarter century continue to be one of our country's most trusted and respected institutions. Police forces have been at the helm of protecting our citizens, so that roads, houses and all citizens in every corner of Kosovo will be safe”, Osmani said.
During her speech, the first state recalled hero Africa Bulnjak, who was killed last year during the attack on Banjska.
We can't talk about the Police without honoring the heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty. The last is Africa Bulnjak, whose bravery and sacrifice continue to inspire us all. The approach, along with many others, made the greatest sacrifice to protect our homeland and provide a peaceful environment for all citizens. In this anniversary, gratitude is expressed to each member of the police who, before everything, has put the interest of state and that of citizens”, the president said.
Osman strongly thanked the Kosovo allies as well.
For 25 years in a row from the first day to the present, we have had our allies at our side, so I thank them once again in the name of Kosovo not only for expertisation and treatment, for equipment and weapons, but for all the unique support for their faith in the Kosovo Police and for everything else”, Osmani said, Klankosova.tv.
In the end, she also thanked Kosovo Police women for professional service and, above all, for the example they set for every girl who intends to join the mission to keep Kosovo safe.
