According to the summary read in the courtroom by SPS representative, prosecutor James Pace this witness was a member of the KLA, who wants to talk about stopping a person who was accused by him as a spy.
The witness 03871 was locked in the KLA around March 1998. He served at different locations, trained KLA soldiers and served as battalion commander. Witness 03871 will give evidence of the formation, structure, duty, membership and reporting of KLA units in which he was part of and other KLA units he knows about. Witness 03871 provides information on meetings attended by other KLA members. Witness 03871 also provides information on stopping a person from KLA soldiers. This person was accused of being a spy during his ban”, prosecutor Pace said during the summary reading.
According to the chairman of the court, the testimony of this witness will last about a day or two. He said the prosecution has estimated it takes two hours, while defence teams are about four and a half hours.
