Zelensky begs the West to lift restrictions on weapons, as a Russian attack kills 6 people

Ukraine needs a powerful “Determination” by its partners to stop the terror Russia is carrying out in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said late Friday after a Russian attack hit a residential building and a garden, leaving six people dead. “This attack was carried out by a bomb [...]
This attack was carried out by a Russian air bomb. This attack would not have happened had our defence forces had the ability to destroy Russian warplanes at their base. We need powerful solutions from our partners to stop this terror. There is no rational reason to limit Ukraine to defence. We need long-range action weapons”, Zelensky said in Telegram.
Zelensky also published a video showing cars in a parking lot with fire and smoke coming out of the middle and high floors of a building.
He also stressed the agreements Ukraine has reached with its partners for granting air defence systems must certainly be implemented.
The air strike on Harkiv hit the entrance of a 12-story building into the town's industrial district, local authorities said.
A 14-year-old girl is among six people killed, said regional Governor Oleh Synyehubov.
He said 47 other people were injured. Earlier, he said about 20 of the wounded are in serious condition.
It is not possible to independently verify these claims.
Harkiv has been at the centre of the Russian bombings in the past, but there has been a drop in intensity in recent weeks. /rel
