“Uncoordinated steps”, “This leads to tensions”: Within a week Kurt is severely criticised by allies for not co-ordination

Five days ago the QUINT ambassadors went to the office of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti from where they came out with a strong message to the Government about the insistence on opening Ibër Bridge. Thus, Kurti received “two slaps from the internationals, writes Periscopi. After the meeting the ambassadors had with Prime Minister Kurti, Hovenier [...]
After the meeting the ambassadors had with Prime Minister Kurti, Hovenier came out with a firm statement that neither QUINT nor NATO “does not support status change for Ibrit Bridge”.
“We are representatives of France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the United States ... We met with Prime Minister Kurti to inform him that our governments in consultation with NATO cannot support any change in the current status of the Mitrovica bridge currently”, Hadweier was expressed after meeting with Kurti.
Stano repeats: Any decision to open Ibër Bridge must come out of dialogue in Brussels
In spite of that, Kurti and many other government and Vetvendosje exhibits are insisting on the opening of the Ibër Bridge, despite many recognitions and experts, such an action could escalate the situation.
“Consultations and coordinates continue. As the European Union's plan for revising the bridge says, the Mitrovica Bridge on Iber will become a symbol of normalisation of relations in Kosovo. The same plan reportedly will greatly contribute to facilitating contacts between all citizens of North and South Mitrovica and thus contribute to exchange and understanding”. So the bridge has to open. She's in service to everyone, and she's not against anyone. Freedom of movement and rule of law does not endanger peace and security, rather”, it was said in the Government's announcement.
The closure of post offices in the North, the harsh international government: Unloaded
Kosovo police closed nine of Serbia's Post objects operating illegally in Kosovo two days ago. Against this move came the US, the EU, Germany and France.
EU spokesman Peter Stano has said that this action of the Government of Kosovo is against Kosovo dialogue Serbia and that the move leads to new tensions.
But all the issues you list are issues where Kosovo has problems. The fact that the EU imposed measures against Kosovo last year is to reflect the steps it calls on in passing. Now we are seeing more unilateral steps, uncoordinated actions. This isn't actually a suspension, this leads to new tensions. And that should be well understood by those who make decisions in Pristina”, Stano has declared.
While Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, through a post on the “X” platform, said unilateral steps clash with agreements reached in dialogue.
“The unilateral and uncoordinated steps not only conflict with dialogue agreements, but even worse, risk that Kosovo's application for membership in the European Union remains stuck in the box (inbox)”, Ambassador Rohde wrote among other things. / P ERISCOPIA
