It is noteworthy that Kurti had met with Commander Uloutas, with whom the main theme was to open the Ibri Bridge, and today this theme is not mentioned, according to ZKMU.

Under the central themes was the opening of the main bridge over Iber in Mitrovica as a right, necessary and useful thing. While during today's meeting with the American Admiral, Kurti also mentioned the criteria fulfilled by Kosovo to join NATO, which is the agreed defence budget.

“also underlined that the total amount of the budget reserved for protection in 2023 exceeds the 200m euros level, or over 2% of Bruto Product -- the criteria for NATO member states -- the prime minister underlined the goal of the Republic of Kosovo for NATO membership”.

In addition, it is known that the American Admiral was accompanied by KFOR Commander Ozkan Ulutas at this meeting, while Kurti was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and Minister Jhelal Svechla.
