Shutting down illegal municipalities, throwing shock bomb in Leposaviq

An explosive device has been launched near the former illegal municipality facility in Leposaviq after midnight.

As Kosovo police report, the vehicle is suspected of being a friend bomb, while saying the relevant units have emerged at the scene.

Kosovo's “Police have received information that after midnight in the vicinity of the former illegal municipality facility in Leposaviq, an explosive device suspected of being a bomb friend has been launched. The relevant police units have immediately taken to the scene, to conduct examinations and investigation into the case. No injuries reported, since investigations into the case are under way by competent police units”, police have said.

Meanwhile, last night police have conducted a police operation in northern Kosovo where, as they have said, has ended with the interruption of illegal activities and the closure of five illegal municipal facilities in northern Kosovo, as they are;

Kosovo's Mitrovica district,

- Mitrovica's illegal community,

- The illegal Zvecan Community,

- The illegal Zubin Potok municipality and

- The illegal Leposavich municipality.
