Jakupi hopes that his work will continue further, despite already having expired.
Jakupi is paid 7,500 euros a month, and the total sum of the contract amounts to 90 thousand euros in gross euros.
He has spoken of his highly talked about wages, yet he has offered no explanation for the work done.

Gani Jakupi's engagement as foreign consultant for the Kosovo Embassy in Brussels contracted in June 2023 ended in June 2024.
After completing the contract, Jakupi hopes to continue performing the same services for the country.
“I hope that my job is not going to end, it's part of the process that needs to continue further”, Gani Jakupi told Paparaci.
Information on the duty of Gani Jakupi had not even provided Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas Donika Gervalla-Schwarz.

The latter, through the MPJ's decision, June 19th 2023, receives the competence that is delegated to the super-soldier and tomorrow, on June 20, 2023, contracts with Gani Jakupin that, according to her, refers to as the Foreign Consultancy for Cultural and Mediatic Affairs.
The Republic of Kosovo has no recognition since Kurti government came to power and the leadership of diplomacy by Donika Gervala. Israel is the last state to have recognised Kosovo on September 4th 2020.
